A new training facility supports Coast Guard training.

The function of the new 26,000-square-foot Maintenance Training Unit (MTU) at the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) 航空 Technical Training Center (ATTC) in Elizabeth City, 北卡罗莱纳, is to support the facility’s primary mission of providing safe and effective maintenance for the USCG’s aviation fleet. The addition of the facility provides the ATTC with a realistic training environment that will contribute to its task of training nearly 700 of the USCG’s aviation maintenance personnel yearly.
